The Alliance for Natural Health (ANH-USA) has been watching activity regarding a collusion between Congress and the FDA very closely. The Alliance for Natural Health reports on their website that a “well-organized, coordinated campaign from the FDA and Big Pharma is threatening access to the supplements you depend on. Using the false premise that supplements are unsafe, the FDA is working to gain more power over the regulation of supplements in order to further solidify Big Pharma’s monopoly over medicine.”

The “new Supplement” guidance policy gives the FDA a way to seek out supplements that do not comply and remove them from the market. FAIM agrees with ANH-USA concerns.
