This summit, held October 20-24, 2021, was designed to help attendees gain an enhanced understanding of the value of research, prevention, support of caregivers and potential intervention in the disease process. Each session walked attendees through a unique perspective on the important subject of education and understanding that leads to a positive action in regard to family and close friends.
Specifically, topics included:
- Discovery of how GMOs play a role in health
- How Alzheimer’s affects all of your relationships, including yourself
- Exploration of brain plasticity and how to keep your brain healthy
- Clarification of the most common misconceptions people have about cognitive decline
- Realizing a better understanding of happiness and how mindset can set a foundation for wellness
- Helpful information regarding caregiver resources and support tools
- Creating a positive shift in the epidemic of Alzheimer’s disease
- Exploring ways to enhance global brain function
More than thirty experts and world-class leaders discussed how help to prevent Alzheimer’s and slow the progression of the disease by offering holistic and complementary options from diet, mindset, and caregiver support. The experts included Jeffery Smith, Nelson Dellis, Anat Baniel, Marci Shimoff, Debra Poneman, Greg O’Brien, Karyn Shanks, Sherrianna Boyle, Gerda Saunders, Judy Cornish, Lauren Mahakian, Marianne Sciucco, Jennifer Fink, Bill Cohen, Dr. Cody Kriegel, Susie Singer Carter, Trish Humenansky-Laub, Alarik Arenander, Michael Mastro, Joy Lucinda, Kerry D’Ambrogio, Nikki Kenward, Tim Hutton, Michael Collins, Keith Wallace, Tad Wanveer, Michael Stanwyck, Dan Riordan, and Christina Keys.
